The delighted Prisca says she feel extremely blessed to have the privilege of carrying the crown. “I was shocked to have won, seeing that I was competing against very beautiful girls who were all intelligent. I knew I could not be intimidated because that is when I need to believe in myself the most and keep my confidence level high,” says Prisca. She adds that winning Miss Umbhali gives her the opportunity to set an example for all young women, not only the university but all over Africa.

“I wish to set a standard of a hardworking, dedicated, intelligent, compassionate young woman. To my fellow Namibian girls, I would like to show them that they should not be limited by borders, if they really set their mind to it, they can do it,” she says. Prisca hopes to make her country proud and put Namibia on the map by continuing to shine and scooping more crowns internationally.
