A practical Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project for high school pupils in Katutura and Khomasdal will be demonstrated by an Austrian social anthropologist today.
According to the Ministry of Education, the aim of the project is to promote and enhance inter-cultural communication between high school learners in Austria and Namibia.
The project is currently running at A. Shipena and Eldorado secondary schools in the Khomas Region and at Erundu Senior Secondary School in the Oshana Region.
The project exposes Namibian school learners to new technology and new forms of global communication such as web-blogs and internet forums.
