The Hon Clemens Kashupuulwa, Governor of the Oshana Region inaugurated the newly re-vamped premises of Pupkewitz Toyota Oshakati last week, which places this motoring facility on a par with international standards. These premises now comply with Toyota Motor Corporation’s highest requirements when it comes to visual appeal and emphasis on customer experience.
The total investment amounts to N$ 10.8 million to introduce the ‘New Retail Concept’ to the Oshakati motoring dealership, allowing Pupkewitz Toyota Oshakati to now render a world class service.

Pupkewitz Toyota Oshakati, a joint venture between Namibia Development Corporation and Pupkewitz Motors (North) (Pty) Ltd, has been going from strength to strength since inception in 2000.
The branch went from an average nine vehicle sales per month in 2000 up to a current monthly average of 40 units. The business has grown in step with the economy of Oshakati and it has become essential for the business to expand its workshop and parts facilities, which are now able to service vehicles in 16 service bays and parts, available overnight.We can service up to 50 vehicles per day.
Pupkewitz Motors North, which comprises the Pupkewitz Toyota Oshakati and Rundu branches, showed excellent results for the financial year that ended 28 February 2014. Due to this achievement – and in the wake of good corporate citizenship and true partnership, Pupkewitz Motors (North) Pty Ltd has announced a dividend handover of N$ 2 million to the Namibia Development Corporation, which is a 40% partner in Pupkewitz Motors (North) (Pty) Ltd.
In reaction to the recent business performance, Junior Bruwer, Chairman of Pupkewitz Motors (North) (Pty) Ltd said that this was a prime example of a smart private-public partnership.
