We have quality to win the league, says Jacobs

Home Sports We have quality to win the league, says Jacobs

Windhoek

Inspired by the weekend’s consecutive victories, Black Africa (BA) mentor Woody Jacobs is optimistic about his team’s chances of winning the coveted MTC Premiership title come end of the season.

Currently topping the Namibia Premier League (NPL) log standing with 16 points, BA maintained their lead with victories over rivals Orlando Pirates and Civics on Saturday and yesterday.

“We don’t want to rush or put ourselves under pressure; the plan is to take it game by game and make sure we get the desired results. I have quality players in my team, it’s just a matter of gelling them well together, but I’m confident with time they will get to where I want.”

“With the depth that we have, I can’t shoot down our chances of winning the league because we have quality players and the players’ mindset and attitude is in the right state to win the league,” said a confident Jacobs.
