The 12th edition of the Mining Expo ended at the Windhoek Showgrounds on Friday after three successful days of activity, marking the biggest event in its history.
Organised by the Chamber of Mines of Namibia, this year’s Expo attracted a record 198 exhibitors and featured 335 exhibition booths.
Held over three full days for the first time, the event has grown into a key national platform for dialogue, investment and innovation in the mining sector.
The 2025 Expo was held under the theme ‘Mining for Namibia’s Future: Job Creation, Local Empowerment and Economic Transformation’.
The theme reflects the industry’s focus on creating more job opportunities, boosting local businesses and supporting national development through mining.
Key industry players , government representatives, suppliers and investors gathered in Windhoek to share ideas and showcase the latest technology, services and projects in the mining field.
The strong turnout shows increasing interest and confidence in Namibia’s mining industry.
