The second annual Restoration Concert hosted by Project Never Walk Alone, renowned for its uplifting events, is scheduled to take place on 7 December at the Dr Hage Geingob Stadium. Building on the triumph of its debut event last year, the concert promises to leave a lasting impression on patrons.
Fifteen gospel artists are lined up to deliver impactful performances to uplift and motivate Namibians as they get ready for the holiday season.
“We want to make it categorically clear that the Restoration Concert does not seek to make any profits. This is a thanksgiving event and our gift to all Namibians, aimed at restoring hope for a better Namibia. We are, therefore, encouraging Namibians from all walks of life to come and fill the Dr Hage Geingob Stadium to capacity to show the world that a city like Windhoek, which is built on a hill, can never be hidden, and that Namibia will be a shining example to the rest of the world,” said PNWA logistics and events manager Beverley Naris.
She said the highlight of this year’s concert will be the performance of The Unveiled, a well-known gospel group from Zimbabwe.
The Unveiled is renowned for its ability to impact and change lives through its music. With their blend of talent, passion and a strong Christian message, The Unveiled aims to make a positive difference in the lives of people from all backgrounds. Additionally, attendees can look forward to performances by Dr Hlengiwe Mhlaba, who hails from KwaZulu/Natal, and Joshua Jansen from the Western Cape, who is considered one of the best Afrikaans gospel artists.
“The local line-up will feature some of Namibia’s most recognised gospel voices, starting with Clive and The Now Generation, who recently celebrated two decades in the gospel music ministry and are considered a pioneer and an inspiration to many. The local line-up presents the best of the best, starting with the multiple award-winning Maranatha with her youthful sound and the King of Namibian gospel D-Naff, who are both expected to release healing with their sound in the atmosphere,” she said.
