Our Hon Prime Minister said about the Rugby World Cup tickets, don’t the people learn from others’ mistake?
The Hon Prime Minister was referring to the Botswana case with soccer tickets and yet the rugby bosses fell in the same trap.
It is actually a shame for the world of sport.
Namibian soccer tickets also disappeared into the air some years/months ago but no one is willing to say anything about it?
What happened to the tickets and whose responsibility is it, in any case, in the case of Soccer?
Can somebo-dy tell us please?
While on the topic of soccer, I read with dismay in the daily papers that the Secretary General of the NFA will only be appointed in March 2008.
Reason being that it will take time for the preparations for Ghana 2008?
How is it possible, how much time does one need to put together a panel and then interview the applicants, or even better why not give it to an independent consultant to do it.
I would say having the SG in place before Ghana 2008 would serve soccer better.
Or is it perhaps an issue of Brother (Muinjo) is looking out for the interest of brother (Barry).
Brothers from the same village, just wondering?
And by the way, what’s with all these international trips for the Brothers, while players and teams are not getting paid since there is no money.
Rukoro off to China, Gertze off to China, Muinjo off to Durban, Rukoro off to Durban, Bamfuchile off to Durban, Muinjo off to Ghana.
Sorry soccer players, sorry teams, no money since the Big Guns need the S&T more.
