If the current status quo remains, Brave Warriors striker Sadney Urikhob could soon be clubless, after it was announced that his Thailand club Saraburi FC has been put up for sale due to persistent financial constraints.

According to Bangkokpost.com, Saraburi chairman Veerapol Adireksarn publicly announced that the Toyota Thai Premiership club has been put up for sale by its owners, after failing to secure and meet sponsorship targets.

“As we failed to find enough funds we can’t continue to manage the team, as there will obviously be problems during the season,” Veerapol was quoted as saying.

He added that all the players have been informed of the club’s financial problems and were advised to look for greener pastures elsewhere.

“The only condition we have for the prospective buyer is that the team must play in Saraburi. If there’s no buyer, we’ll be forced to pull the team out of the season.”

The announcement comes a month before the Thai Premier League kicks off its 2016 season. Saraburi FC finished 14th in the 18-team Thai Premier League last season.

Urikhob joined Saraburi at the start of the 2015 and immediately went to work, scoring some jaw-dropping goals in the first few matches.

In the second half of the season, however, the former Civics striker suffered an array of injuries, which kept him out of action for the rest of the season.
