WINDHOEK-The Bank Windhoek Theatre School is tomorrow a centre of attraction on the entertainment calendar when local talents feature in the first ever thrilling Kwaito Session.
Kwaito Session has been initiated by the School to give platform to Kwaito artists to showcase their talents. According to the organiser, Luktos Shikongo, the main aim of the show is to promote Kwaito artists and give them a chance to shine and to be active. “This will be our first session and we promise to give Namibian people the best of Kwaito music. We are looking at new artists and each show, starting this month, will give a chance to other artists at each session,” says Shikongo.
Kwaito artists to rock the first show are Fishman, Bones, Waka, Crazy Dogg, Young T and many others. To top it up, there will be different Djs.Shikongo adds that the next session will be by the end of next month and they are looking forward to new artists on board such as Mappz. “The shows will be at the Theatre School the whole of this year and we are looking forward to take to other places by next year,” he says.
Tickets for this Session is N$ 50 and the doors open at eight O’clock (20h00).
