The Bank Windhoek Schools Netball Super League continued with third round matches at Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Stampriet and Windhoek recently.

In the only match played mid-week in the Under-17 age group, defending champions Windhoek Gymnasium defeated Windhoek Afrikaans Private School by 33 goals to 17 at the Trustco United courts.

Windhoek Gymnasium then travelled to Walvis Bay the next day to confront hosts De Duine Secondary School. At the end of day De Duine claimed the victory (30:24). However, the Windhoek Gymnasium Under-19 team levelled the scales when they downed De Duine with an impressive 50:12 triumph.

In Stampriet, Elnatan Private School maximised their home ground advantage, dispatching Dr. Lemmer High 25:6.

Elsewhere, Windhoek High School (WHS) beat Windhoek Afrikaans Private School (WAP) 24:12 in the Under 17 League, but WAP came back to beat WHS 27:21 in a closely contested match in the Under 19 League.

Both teams went on to score more victories in the Under-19 League, both beating Mokganedi Thlabanello High School, who have yet to register a win. The tie between WHS and Mokganedi was a hard-fought contest, as the latter struggled to gain their first victory in the League. WHS won 38:36, while WP beat the girls from Gobabis (Drimiopsis) by 40 baskets to 27.

Edugate Academy claimed two wins in the Under-17 League, against WHS (25:8) and MK Gertze (50:8). However, MK Gertze managed to get some consolation when the southerners fashioned a draw against Windhoek Afrikaans Private School.
