Lüderitz

The Seaflower Group of Companies has donated sports gear to Angra Pequena Senior Secondary School in Lüderitz.
At the handing over ceremony last week at the school’s premises, Seaflower general manager of finance Paulus Ngalangi said that the company is a responsible and good corporate citizen.

“We exploit the allocated quota of catches in the Atlantic Ocean, a natural resource for profits, and it remains our responsibility to take care of the Lüderitz community and the entire Namibian community.”

Ngalangi added that advancing the cause of community development and empowering projects is one of their prime objectives. Hence Seaflower’s donation of complete netball and football playing gear to the school.

“Sports remain a vital tool and activity in the development of our children and societies.
“It does not only keep children fit and healthy, but also keeps them away from social evils such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs, and unwanted teenage pregnancies,” emphasized Ngalangi.

Angra Pequena Senior Secondary School principal Shyral Beukes applauded Seaflower for the generous donation.
