Shaningwa takes Swapo gospel to Guinas …campaigns for party candidate

TSINTSABIS – Swapo secretary general (SG) Sophia Shaningwa has urged residents of the Guinas constituency in the Oshikoto region to vote for her party’s candidate during the upcoming by-election on Friday.
During a Swapo mini-rally in the Tsintsabis settlement on Tuesday, Shaningwa said Moses Khumub is the right person to lead the constituency office.

She said he would do justice to the residents of the constituency once voted into power.
She stated that the ruling party has made a commitment to deliver job opportunities to the youth of Guinas.

Should they not elect the right candidate into office, it will be difficult for Swapo to provide job, creation projects in the constituency.
“Swapo needs a candidate in Guinas to build a sport field and provide birth certificates to people who do not have them,” she said.
She added that Khumub will be under the Swapo Party’s instructions.

“I hope the people of Guinas understand that if they vote for a Swapo candidate for this election, we can implement the party’s manifesto. I, therefore, need the residents of Guinas to support our candidate on Friday,” said Shaningwa.
The SG urged the party’s agents not to be intimidated by anyone.

She motivated them to continue doing their work.

Khumub, in his remarks, promised the residents that he is going to deliver as highly expected by the Swapo Party.

“I can derive my strength from what I have witnessed in the constituency, such as roads and other development. Let’s go out and vote collectively so that we can win,” he said.
