Vivo Energy Namibia, the company that markets and distributes Shell products, officially opened the brand new  Shell Okahandja Truck Stop on May 23, which is equipped with a three pump islands offering a choice of V-Power, Diesel Extra and Shell Diesel 50.

The Shell Okahandja truck stop is centrally located on the corner of the B2 highway, and will serve truck drivers and motorists using the highway. The truck stop will allow drivers to re-fill while also re-energising themselves at the convenience store.

Managing Director of Vivo Energy Namibia, Johan Grobbelaar, at the official launch re-affirmed Vivo Energy Namibia’s commitment to its customers.  “We are heavily focused on extending our network of service stations to benefit our customers.  We are here for the long run, thus our commitment to expanding our services in the country.”

Shell Okahandja Truck Stop conforms to the required company standards and adheres to all safety requirements as per the company’s Health Safety Security & Environment policy.

“Safety is key which is why we have ensured that the staff at this service station, as with all our other service stations have been through rigorous training. The safety of our customer’s and staff is a number one priority,” Grobbelaar added.
