It was exactly on 16 May 2014 that taxi driver Jesaja Shiikwa received the Top Taxi prize for being the best taxi driver. However, lady luck came his way for the second time when he was awarded the same prize on the Radio Kosmos balcony today. “I can’t believe it,” said the visibly excited Shiikwa. “I will definitely carry on obeying the traffic rules and driving my passengers safely,” he added. He walks away with N$3000 cash prize from Standard Bank Namibia, an E-Med Rescue Medical Aid Kit and a free wax and polish for his taxi. Shiikwa is the 20th Top Taxi winner this year.
