Impressive Events Management will be re-staging the dance show “Kwaito Dance From Da Kasie” at the National Theatre on 1 September 1 as part of the Bank Windhoek Arts Festival. Tickets will be available at the NTN Box Office as from Monday, August 20. Doors will open at 19h00 and the show will kick off at 20h00.

Kwaito Dance From Da Kasie is a one-hour theatre dance show, which aims at entertaining as well as educating its audience. It is educational in the sense that each dancing scene has a story line and targets social issues such as classroom discipline, sugar daddies, teenage pregnancies and alcohol abuse in general.

After the successful staging early in June this year, the show on September 1 is much bigger and better, with new dancers on board such as Heavy D who will be the centre of attraction with his huge- built body, and other talented dancers from Katutura. Kwaito Dance From Da Kasie is a celebration of the much-loved and fast-growing music genre, Kwaito. Audiences will be entertained with dancing moves such as mapansula, a well-known dance originally from the dusty streets of Soweto in our neighbouring South Africa, ka-viba, kuduru, kwasa and many more. These dancing moves will definitely leave the audience astonished and craving for more.
