Skeleton Coast premieres at local cinema

Mondjila Studio, in partnership with Standard Bank, premiered the Pan-African film, ‘Skeleton Coast’ (2024), at Ster-Kinekor at Grove Mall in Windhoek on Saturday. tells an epic tale of resilience, culture and adventure, weaving together the rich narratives of Africa’s diverse heritage. It is directed by Robert O Pieters, and features Thapelo Mokoena (South Africa), Ini Dima-Okojie (Nigeria), Mawuli Gavor (Ghana), Hollywood legend Eric Roberts, Namibia’s very own Armas Shivute, and lead actress and executive producer Tjuna Daringo.  The film was produced in collaboration with Nigerian media powerhouse Play Network Studio. It was debuted on 21 May 2024 at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival in Paris.
