Sparkling netball action returns

The Khomas Super 10 Netball League, which was previously known as the Khomas Netball League, officially kicked off with games over the weekend at the Wanderers court in the capital. The matches played over the weekend consisted of the Premier, First and Second Division teams. 

Action kicked off with Premier League action with Afrocats taking on Wanderers 2 and Afrocats delivered a masterpiece when they went on to defeat Wanderers 2 by 58-27. Wanderers 1 and Tigers locked horns and the match saw Wanderers 1 walking away as 40-20 winners.

In the First Division action, NUST 1 took on stablemates NUST 2 in a thrilling encounter, which saw NUST 2 emerging 44-18 victors, while Gomonatifella suffered a 25-20 defeat at the hands of NDF Windhoek 1. 

Second Division matches saw the Namibia Correctional Services (NCS) team take on Tigers 2 and went on to beat Tigers by 15-0, and Zebra Force also recorded a win over the weekend when they defeated Lingua Blue Eagles by 26-7. Action in the Khomas Super 10 Netball League will again continue this coming weekend in the capital.
