The Kavango East-based St Boniface College continued its good run, with the school once again dominating the top of the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) ordinary and higher level performances.
Nine learners from the school also form part of the top ten performers for ordinary level, while the school has three pupils in the higher level top ten.

Education minister Anna Nghipondoka announced the 2020 grade 12 results yesterday in Windhoek.
St Boniface is known for its best learners performances and they have constantly been producing top achievers over the years.
“The secret behind our victory is discipline. Most of our learners at our school are disciplined and we don’t need people to tell us what to do and when to do it. Discipline and hard work got us where we are now,” said Innocentia Neramba, who emerged as one of the top ten grade 12 ordinary level performers.

The only learner who is not from St Boniface in the top ten ranking hails from Windhoek-based Jacob Marengo Tutorial College. The school is represented by Simon Fransisco.

In the higher level national ranking of private schools, St Boniface is followed by St Paul’s College, while Omusati-based Canisianum Roman Catholic School came in third place, followed by Gobabis Gymnasium Private School.
The top performers include Tucsin, Walvis Bay Private School, Windhoek Gymnasium, ELCIN Nkurenkuru, Edugate Academy and Oshigambo High School.

The public school top ranking is headed by Rukonga Vision School, while Otjiwarongo and Grootfontein secondary schools came in at second and third. They are followed by Negumbo Senior Secondary School, Etosha Secondary and Windhoek High School.
The other three top performers include Haumbili Haufiku Senior Secondary School, Putuavanga Secondary School and Angra Pequena Senior Secondary School.
