This year’s Standard Bank Auto show promises to be a spectacular affair. The show is for motor vehicle dealers to exhibit their latest products, and a place where Standard Bank would this year sell financing at an interest rate of prime rate minus 1,75 per cent, with no deposit required on a period of 60 months and with a residual value of up to 30 per cent.

Standard Bank Namibia is expecting a total of 32 exhibiting dealerships and 22 000 visitors at this year’s show. Last year the show had 19 989 visitors.

“Based on last year’s success of the Standard Bank Auto Show with a total revenue value of N$64-million, I am therefore optimistic that this year’s Auto show will exceed our expectations once again,” said Standard Bank Namibia’s Chief Executive, Vetumbuavi Mungunda.

Standard Bank Namibia’s Auto Show is scheduled to take place at the SKW Sports Field in Olympia, Windhoek, on 3 and 4 July.

“We all know that feeling that once you get into your dream car and fasten your seat belt you are eager to switch on the ignition. We all have that inner child excitement to drive the car of your dreams,” said Mungunda.

Visitors to the show can also look forward to a number of side attractions. These include: Entertainment by leading Namibian and South African artists; Display of the latest vehicles on a rotating turn table; Display of “Old Wheelers” and trucks; Entertainment for the children; and various other activities.
