WINDHOEK – With the excitement of buying gifts and grocery shopping this festive season many people will be looking forward to spending their yearly bonuses on themselves and loved ones.
It is in view of this that Standard Bank Namibia saw the need to making the banking experience of their customers more convenient by extending the operation times of its branches by one hour from 07h30 in the morning until 16h00 in the afternoon. This extension is valid from December 1 to 24, 2014.
“We feel this is the time that people would like to enjoy and have access to their hard earned money and bonuses. It is all about giving our clients the ease and flexibility to have a head start in coming into the branch or do their banking early or have the choice of doing it later in the afternoon,” said Surihe Gaomas-Guchu, Public Relations and Communications Manager at Standard Bank Namibia.
The branches that will be open at the above-mentioned times and dates are Eenhana, Gobabis, Gustav Voights Centre, Ausspannplatz, Katima Mulilo, Khomasdal, Kuisebmond, Maerua Mall, Ondangwa, Ongwediva, Oshakati, Oshana Mall, Oshikango, Otjiwarongo, Outapi, Rundu, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and Windhoek.
“This is normally the time when people tend to shop more than usual. However we advise the public to spend their money wisely so that they also have enough to carry them through the tough month of January next year,” advised Gaomas-Guchu.
