WINDHOEK – Standard Bank Namibia last week announced the trip winners of its ‘Paradise Island Challenge’, which is an annual competition for the bank’s top dealerships and vehicle salespersons.
“The winners of this latest campaign, as well as their spouses, will be treated to an all-expenses 10-day trip to Phuket in Thailand, where they will experience first-hand one of the world’s most exotic islands,” said Standard Bank Namibia’s New Business Manager in the Vehicle and Asset Finance Department, Eugene Junius.
Their trip started on 26 September and will end on 4 October.
The campaign pioneered by Standard Bank’s Vehicle and Asset Finance Department ran from 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2014.
“It is a fair opportunity for every dealership and vehicle salesperson. The winners are chosen by calculating the rolling average for the duration of the campaign as per the number of deals introduced by the dealership.
“Dealerships should reach their set target before the salespersons can qualify,” explained Junius.
He noted that all the different dealerships in the various categories competed against each other.
The winners are Sansi Thirion (Novel Motor Company); Miller Jansen van Vuuren (Steckel’s Toyota); Corrie Katjiru (Pupkewitz GWM); Bernice Bessinger (Autohaus Mastercars); Jolize Barnard (Indongo Toyota); Eddie van Wyk (Autohaus Mastercars); Jacques Routh (Pupkewitz Toyota); Janice Isaacs (M & Z Motors); Pierre Gous (AMH Renault) and Chief Executive of Standard Bank Junius Mungunda.
“They all had a minimum target to meet per month during this campaign.
“The salespersons who came 1st in each category are included in the trip to Phuket, while the 2nd and 3rd prizes were also awarded at our recent annual prize-giving event,” added Junius.
The top performing dealerships were also recognized at the Annual Standard Bank Vehicle and Asset Finance gala event held on 25 August 2014.
