Home Sports Street House backs up the Tigers

WINDHOEK – Shandumbala outfit Tigers sports club last week became the chief beneficiary of 60 pairs of sports footwear for both its football and netball teams, following a timely sponsorship from clothing retailer Street House.

The 60 pairs of footwear, which consist of 30 Warrior football boots and 30 pairs of Warrior sneakers for the netball team, were handed over at a hastily arranged ceremony in Windhoek last Thursday.

Warrior sportswear is a manufacturer of lacrosse, ice hockey and football equipment and clothing. The brand entered the football market, producing kits and training equipment for several clubs around the world, including English Premiership giants Liverpool.

Street House has been an active role player in Namibian sport, particularly in football as they solely sponsor the Street House Football League, which has for the past years become an imperative feeder system to the Namibia Premier League (NLP) including various national youth teams.

Speaking at the handover, Tigers executive member Dino Balloti lauded Street House for the massive footwear sponsorship and promised that both their football and netball teams will work extra hard to make sure they remain competitive as a brand and as a club.
