Township Productions is set to stage another theatre production called ‘Sunset in the South’ from October 11 to 13 at the Warehouse Theatre.

This drama is a tragic love story exploring love through Lang Arm Music, Dance and Dialogue.

Bank Windhoek Arts Festival is commissioning the play that features prominent, new and amateur actors.

Tickets are on sale at NTN Box Office, the Warehouse Theatre as well as from the cast members. Entrance fee is N$45 advance and N$50 at the door.

The play is written and directed by Keamogetsi Joseph Molapong.

Township Productions has appealed to the public for support.

The play is currently in rehearsal at the Boiler Theatre at the KCAC. One of the actresses, a froemr member of the community group, Prophets of the South, has been specially contracted to act in this play with its three-day run at the Warehouse theatre.

Next week we feature a new play by Tania Terblache, titled Lea B, dealing with five awaiting trial Namibian women in a police cell. Look out for this play that will be staged as part of the Theatre Zone on 19 and 20 October.
