Endjala encouraged Swapo supporters to vote for Swapo so that together they lead the country into victory in the second phase of the struggle for genuine economic independence.
“The priority above all priorities is to unite all Namibians so that we can maintain peace and stability and accelerate all our economic development plans and programmes,” said Endjala.
In Omusati Region the developmental projects planned in the next five years, should Swapo win the upcoming national elections, include modernising the roads between Engela and Anumulenge, Okapalelona and Outapi and Okalongo to Oshivelo sha Kasamane.
In the northern region as a whole, the government also intends to upgrade to bitumen standard the roads between Onhuno-Eenhana, and Ongwediva to Ondangwa to Omuthiya.
Roads that will be gravelled in the next five years include Etoma, Omundaungilo, Epato, Onaushe, Okathitu, Uukwiyu-Uushona, Omuntele and Ompundja.

“This is another clear demonstration of our commitment to modernize and expand our physical and communications infrastructure in line with our National Development Plan (NDP4) and Vision 2030,” stressed Endjala.
He also mobilized Swapo supporters in singing party and liberation songs while dancing energetically and with vigour to the rhythm.
Endjala who spoke confidently of victory in the upcoming national elections scheduled for November 28 said that events of such nature are meant to remind people of what is expected from each one at the polling stations.
