Out with the old, in with the new, is the spirit with which Namibia Breweries Limited is introducing the new look of Tafel Lager.

Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, the company’s Marketing Manager Mike Reilly said that the new image of the much-loved Tafel Lager brand was changed to be in line with fast-evolving consumer trends.

“Consumer trends are moving at such a quick rate and it’s a normal part of business to keep up to this trend. This is our way of keeping up with the consumer and it’s an absolutely necessary part of doing business,” explained Reilly.

This is the first major change in the Tafel Lager image, which is aimed at bringing people together in times of celebration.

“It’s a Namibian type scene, intimate social moments and after a long day’s work a beer is always a reason to celebrate,” said Reilly.

The new image is a Namibian production except for the label design, which was done by a South African agency. With its modern look, Tafel Lager will continue to be available in all its current pack sizes, while its price will remain the same. The advertising campaign for the new look of Tafel Lager in the various media will start from Monday September 17.
