Tango proved a real tango

Home Time Out Tango proved a real tango

Windhoek

It was Tango dance night at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) when Restaurant La Bonne Table and Fusion Funk Dance Studio presented the first Dancing Cocktails last Friday at FNCC Terrace.

The audience was entertained by Fusion Funk dance when they presented a Latin Tango dance. They present two dances, first for a couple and then a second of a threesome, a guy and two ladies.  The night got interesting and fun when members of the audience joined in on the dancing flow, accompanied by Mcbreaton Pienter, the founder of Fusion Fun Studio and some of his dancers assisting them to tango-dance.

Pienter says they are creating a culture for different communities to come together every Friday to express their dancing culture. “People don’t really get time to express their dancing culture because they are busy to attend dancing school. We decided to bring them this monthly session for them to come together, enjoy and have fun,” he says.

Each monthly session they will feature a selected dance style with expert instructors demonstrating an array of striking moves of the featured dance styles for audiences to follow.
