The Tour & Safari Association of Namibia (TASA) officially went online today, with its visa application platform. This private sector initiative, developed by TASA, strives to streamline the process of the various visas and permit applications handled by TASA for processing at the ministry of home affairs on behalf of applicants in the tourism sector.
Tourism companies as well as individuals can make use of this online application platform to apply for a number of services, including work visas, employment/work permits, temporary residence permits, holiday/tourist visas as well as extensions and renewals.
In addition, TASA has also streamlined its membership application process, whereby potential members can now also apply for their TASA membership online via this same portal.
The TASA offers various levels of memberships ranging from affiliate to full memberships. The different criteria are available on the TASA website.
Founded in 1989, the TASA is a voluntary private-sector body that acts on behalf of its members to encourage the development of responsible tourism in Namibia, ensure standards and reliability in the Namibian tourism industry and further the common interests of Namibian tour operators.
