The year 2019 was just like any other year, but when Kaboy Kamakili made himself known on the social streets, he took the nation by storm.
He has since become one of the top Kwaito sensations in the country.
However, Kaboy’s entry into the entertainment industry was marred with a lot of controversies, as his manager at the time, Abed, was believed to be using him for financial gain. Kaboy left that management deal and signed with King Tee Dee, who he trashed for not investing enough in his music. Kaboy later came out and denied he ever said anything bad about King Tee Dee.
Despite all that drama, the young musician is focused on his music and keeping his fans happy.
It is known that not everybody in the industry gets along. Remember when King Tee Dee and Gazza were not getting along, but they found a way to mend their relationship? Kaboy took a swipe at Manxebe and it doesn’t seem like they will become buddies anytime soon.
The two have been beefing for some time, and their beef escalated to an unprecedented level. It is unclear what triggered Kaboy, but the musician lambasted Manxebe and publicly challenged him, saying if he thinks he is the best then they should meet in the studio.
Recently during one of Kaboy’s performances, he got many talking, as he seemed to be intoxicated. What led many to that conclusion is that he kept falling off stage and missing some of the words in his songs that people were quite familiar with.
Soon he found himself trending after a video of him lying on the stage went viral. Some made fun of him on social media and said he must not go to an event to perform whilst he is drunk.
The musician, however, poured cold water on the accusations and denied that he was intoxicated, nor that he is an alcoholic. Kaboy said that was an act as part of his performance.
So, what really happened, because that video told quite a story?
