The previous week, our article focused on how our imagination and thoughts creates our reality. What you think about, whether is negative or positive; you attract in your life. This notion is denoted by great philosophers as “the Law of Attraction”. Even this article, you have attracted in your life. The human mind is a very powerful tool that can create heaven or hell for itself through imagination. In the previous article, I emphasised that we should watch what our thoughts constantly dwell on because what we think a lot about, we attract to ourselves. This might be a new concept to you, so I am going to make it simple and take you through step by step as to how you can really turn your life around by monitoring your thoughts so they can work for you in a positive way.
The biggest factor to a great life is to stop focusing on what you do not like, what you do not want or what you are scared of. Stop giving attention to your past mistakes and the bad things that have happened to you. You have gone through that already and you do not need to go through it twice. The law of attraction sees what you are thinking about and not how you do not want it. If you think about not wanting to be a failure, and how you are scared about it, what you attract in your life is more fear to challenge yourself. Instead, think about how you want success and you should be excited about it. Begin talking about what you want rather than what you do not want. Every word that comes out of your mind is the beginning of a creation process. If you say, “I cannot do it”, you start registering it in your mind that you are incapable and that becomes your reality.
Your feelings also play a great role in the creation of your reality. Most people do not believe this, but our feelings are actually in our control. You can choose how you want to feel right now. Right now as you are reading this article, I dare you to pick one thing in your life to be grateful about. If you are feeling good, happy, and grateful and any other positive feeling, you start noticing more things in your life that bring positive feelings. If you have a certain disease or disability, start focusing more on the medication that you are taking and how grateful you are that there is actually medicines and services available that can help you to make your life better.
Dare yourself for a few weeks and see if the following exercise works. First start off by being grateful for what you have. You will be astonished by the number of things that are going well in your life and you did not even know it. You mind eventually will start getting accustomed to being grateful and happy, attracting more positive things that you can be grateful for.
