Nothing beats not having to worry about shaping your eyebrows every morning before going to work or anywhere else a girl needs to look on flic.

While many are still concerned about how to shape their brows, because it takes time to perfect, Clytinah Lifasi isn’t concerned at all; she’s an expert and can help you safe time. The 27-year-old self-employed beautypreneur focusses on microblading and microshading.

Lifasi said applying full-face makeup could take around 45 minutes, but after spending just an hour and a half microblading, the time spent on makeup is slashed considerably.

“Microblading is the art of enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is scratched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles,” she informed VIBEZ!

Microshading uses pin-like dots of pigmentation to achieve a powdered eyebrow look.

Lifasi explained that microblading lasts for between four and eight months, depending on the skin tone, while microshading lasts for about one year, also depending on the skin tone.

The aesthetician said she offers these services because she loves building women’s self-esteem and confidence, adding “everyone deserves to feel beautiful, in and out”.  She said her passion for beauty and love for art inspired her to start doing makeup.  “At first I had no idea it would grow into such a sustainable business but here we are, six years later and the makeup business is paying my bills.”

Lifasi started off doing day makeup and semi-permanent makeup, and now gets between six to eight clients weekly, but mostly on pay-days, especially starting from the 20th of each month for microblading and microshading.

On days when she does not have clients, she works on creative content for her Instagram account (thee_cl_experience) that she established in December 2019, and has attracted over 3 400 followers thus far. Lifasi also offers makeup lessons.

“What makes me stand out is the experience one gets with me, hence I call my business ‘Thee Clytinah Lifasi Experience’. In my work room (at Maerua Mall) I build bonds with my clients, treat them with kindness and try my outmost best to be relatable to them.

I know its business, but treating others with respect is what takes you far.”  The brow specialist aspires to become a household name, one that every woman would recognise in the future. Ultimately, Lifasi aims to open her own spa with different branches around the country.
