Namibians are to reset their time by one hour ahead as summer season officially ushers in on Sunday.
This is nothing new to Namibia as time changes take place every year when winter season starts at 02h00 on the first Sunday of April and reverts back to summer time at 02h00 on the first Sunday of September.
Time change in the country is backed by the Namibian Time Act of 1994 that regulates the two seasons.
The change in time is due to Namibia’s location east of the Greenwich Meridian and south of the Equator.
