Tjongarero appoints organising committee for youth games

In an essential step towards hosting the African Union Sport Council (AUSC) Region 5 Youth Games, the Minister of Sport, Youth and National Service, Agnes Tjongarero, appointed the local organising committee (LOC), comprising 17 members, to oversee the preparations and execution of the Youth Games.

Their term officially began on 1 November 2024, and will run until 31 October 2025 in alignment with Cabinet Decision No. 20th/12.11.24/007.
