RUNDU – Rundu-based Afro-pop and kwaito duo TKB (Tight Kassie Brothers) is set to drop their latest single ‘Champion’ today.

Since joining the music mainstream in 2011, Abioth Kavanra (stage name B-zo) and Joseph Kandere (Sai) have showered their fans with hit after hit, beguiling them with tunes to keep the momentum.

“Our latest offering is titled ‘Champion’. The message is all about believing and trusting the progress of being a champion, because we believe we are champions in our musical journey. The video was shot and directed by Black Cat Films, and was shot right here in Rundu,” smiled B-zo. The song and accompanying video simply talk about how the duo have transformed through the years, and who they are today through their dedication and inspiration.

“With the new single, we are trying to give motivation to all those who are trying to achieve their goals.”

To date, TKB has four independently-released albums: ‘Breakthrough’, ‘Calamari’, ‘Kawe’ and ‘Nzira’.

“All we can tell our fans is that we are here to give them good music, which will of course keep them motivated through of these trying times, and will unite us all. In this video, we showcase some legends; those who have motivated us, and gave TKB that motivation to rewrite history and pass it on to the next generation,” he noted. – jmuyamba@nepc.com.na
