Top netball school secures major sponsorship

Home Sports Top netball school secures major sponsorship

Windhoek

PSG Namibia will be the lead sponsor of Windhoek Gymnasium’s first netball team for the next three years. The sponsorship will benefit all age groups and will assist with the development of netball from junior levels.

Windhoek Gymnasium rose to the top of various national netball leagues and came first in all four secondary school netball leagues in 2014. Around 240 students at the school are taking part in the upcoming netball season. It has up to 24 teams competing this year in tournaments and competitions across the country and beyond the border.

PSG Namibia, headquartered in Windhoek and headed up by director Brian van Rensburg, entered into the sponsorship deal with a view to the future. “We believe in the younger generation,” says van Rensburg, “and that’s the reason for this sponsorship. Not only will we be enabling young students to be active and healthy, but we might even be propelling some future Namibian sports superstars toward their dreams.”

“We are thrilled that we have PSG Namibia on board as sponsor of Windhoek Gymnasium netball.  In this new partnership with PSG Namibia we hope to inspire our netball girls to reach even greater heights,” adds Mrs Colette Rieckert, Managing Director of Windhoek Gymnasium.
