Windhoek

Leading Lodges of Africa has opened a tourist information centre in the city centre that would provide communication and convenience solutions to tourists in Windhoek.

The centre is to market Namibia as a whole to outside tourists.

The centre provides bookings and referrals for restaurants and accommodation establishments to walk-in tourists, Internet access, transfers and car rental bookings, rent cellphone, satellite phones and tourist related information.

The centre also provides luggage storage for tourists who would have booked out of hotels but want to explore the city one last time before they board the plane.

Prime Minister Nahas Angula inaugurated the centre.
