Following regulatory approval, Trustco Life has rebranded to Stanbury Life. This transformation, as approved by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa), the non-banking financial services regulator, follows the recent completion for a N$468 million share buyback transaction in the insurer’s holding company, Legal Shield Holdings.
This means Stanbury Life, formerly Trustco Life limited, is now a licensed Namibian life insurer that has provided comprehensive long-term insurance solutions since 2006. The newly rebranded Stanbury Life last week stated that “as the company commemorates 19 years of delivering innovative life, health, and wealth solutions, the board of directors had approved this change to strengthen the company’s position as an independent, forward-thinking entity in the financial services sector”.
“This rebranding marks a significant milestone for our company and customers,” said Annette Brand, chief executive officer of Stanbury Life.
The company added that Stanbury Life will continue to build upon its three core pillars: life, health, and wealth. Its product offerings, including life and health insurance and a range of investment solutions, which are designed to empower clients to achieve long-term financial stability and growth.
“While the name and visual identity will change, all existing product offerings, agreements, contracts, and warranties will remain unaffected,” the statement added.
