WINDHOEK-The South African house music group, Uhuru, that has fast been claiming acclaim, are launching their new album , Our Father, at Kuisebmund Stadium, in Walvis Bay on Sunday.
The event is presented by the Cnop Entertainment under Knowledge Ipinge’s management. He says the event will incorporate house music Sunday session and Uhuru’s Namibian album launch. Participating Namibian DJs will be DJ K-bozz and others from Walvis Bay like DJ Hou Vas, DJ Xavi, DJ Della D, Coke Boys and many others. Uhuru is a newly formed group under the Kalawa Jazmee stable which comprises of Maphorisa, DJ Clap, Xelimpilo and Mapiano. These four guys are currently turning out to be the hottest producers in South Africa. They are responsible and produce almost all the hot songs currently pumping in clubs and radio stations such as Mafikizolo’s Khona and Happiness, DJ Zinhle’s My name is, Dr Malinga ‘s Jika , DJ Vetkuk vs Mahoota’s Not yet Uhuru, Via Orlando and Stokvel remix , Lvovo ‘s Palesa and their own songs like Thathisgubu remix, Y-Tjukutja and many other hit songs.

Uhuru recently reached gold status with Our Father. Tickets are currently available at Pascals Barbershop in Walvis Bay, Young One’s music Store in Swakopmund or any Shoprite stores countrywide for only N $ 50 in advance and N$100 at the gates which open at seven O’clock until late.
