For the second year running, Marietjie van den Bergh and Will Esterhuizen won the ladies and men’s national premier singles tourneys, respectively.

By winning the challenge, the pair gained the right to represent Namibia the country at next year’s prestigious World Champion of Champions in Christchurch, New Zealand.

A 28 member (men) and 19 member (women) teams took part in the competition that saw the men playing at the Windhoek Country Club bowling greens while the ladies battled it out at Eros Bowling Club.

Van den Bergh and Esterhuizen will also leave for the Australian Gold Coast at the end of next month to compete in the World Champion of Champions; they have already qualified for last year.
