WINDHOEK – Vivo Energy Namibia, the company that markets and distributes Shell products, last week announced the opening of the Shell Riteway Service Station in Swakopmund.

“Shell Riteway is strategically located at the entrance to Swakopmund from Windhoek on the corner of the B2 highway. In addition to serving the community of Swakopmund, Shell Riteway will also serve visitors arriving and departing Swakopmund,” said Peter Murangi, the supply and marketing manager for Vivo Energy Namibia.

Murangi invited customers to test the Shell experience, as “in doing so, we are committed to achieve and maintain the highest Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Standards and to deliver Shells high quality fuels and lubricants in an environmentally and socially responsible manner”. Vivo Energy Namibia is a company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants. It was established in 2012 as a joint venture between Vitol, Helios Investment Partners, and Shell. The Shell brand has been in Namibia since 1975. Vivo Energy Namibia employs 61 people and the company is recognized as the leader in the oil industry, especially championing and setting the highest standards for safety and product quality.
