Volcano on Tonight at FNCC

Home Archived Volcano on Tonight at FNCC

Founded in 2002, Volcano Vibes needs no introduction to the Namibian public, especially to music lovers. Volcano Vibes has come of age and is now a force to be reckoned with, as far as live music is concerned. Volcano Vibe is vigorously busy rehearsing in preparation for their next album that will be due in December. Coup D’ÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚©tat will follow their successful debut album Okapana that became a household name in SADC countries and in France as well. Coup d’ÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚©tat, an eight-track album, is different from their previous release. It is a blend of different styles including samba, rumba, shambo and zouk. Their music can never be mistaken with other music makers as their unique and original flavour is respected. They have made a balance to cater for all age groups. Coup d’ÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚©tat means that the band aims at reclaiming its place in the music industry to prove to its detractors that they mean business when it comes to live performance. In fact they are the “Okapana dance masters”.
