The Namibia Rugby Union Premier League made its highly-anticipated return to action, with defending champions FNB Wanderers delivering an impressive 60-34 victory over Reho Falcon in a dominant performance. 

The match took place at Rehoboth, where Wanderers director of rugby Dirk Human acknowledged that while the result was positive, there is still room for improvement. “I am proud and satisfied with the performance. In the next two weeks, we will train hard to keep building on this,” he said after the match.

In other action-packed fixtures, Grootfontein triumphed over Trustco United in a nail-biting 24-23 victory at the United field, showcasing the intensity of the competition. 

Meanwhile, Kudus demonstrated their dominance with a 55-7 win over Dolphins. Western Suburbs also emerged victorious, edging past FNB Unam with a close 24-22 result.
