WINDHOEK – Namibia’s World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa welterweight champion, Tyson Ushona, says he is unstoppable and wants to be the best in his weight division and come this Saturday, he will back up his statement.

Ushona, who holds a record of 32 wins, 2 loss and 1 draw from 35 fights and lost his last fight in 2012, is set to lock horns with equally dangerous Dario Pucheta of Argentina in an international welterweight bout over 10 rounds at this weekend’s ‘Final Punch To The World Title’ boxing bonanza at the Katutura Independence Arena.

Pucheta boats a record of 19 wins and 2 loses from 21 fights in the paid ranks and his last defeat came last year when he lost to Anderson Clayton. During yesterday’s face-off, Ushona refused to read too much into his opponent’s equally impressive record and promised to deliver one of his best performances.

“I want to prove why I say I’m the best and come this Saturday, I will pull this boy (Dario) deep into the sea and see how good of a swimmer he is. I’m unstoppable and it’s my time to shine, not even Dario will stop me,” warned Ushona.

Also spitting venom was Vikapita ‘Beast Master’ Meroro, who takes on Argentinean opponent Walter Cabral in an international cruiserweight bout in one of the three main supporting fights. “I don’t have much to say but to send out a friendly warning to Walter. If he survives the first opening three rounds, then he will leave me with no option but to go for the kill and I will destroy him,” said Meroro.

In the main bout of the evening, Paulus ‘The Hitman’ Moses squares off against Josenilson Dos Santos when he defends his international lightweight title. Entrance fee is N$500 for VIP tickets and N$100 for general tickets at all Computicket outlets.
