WINDHOEK – A warrant of arrest was issued yesterday for an alleged shoplifter who on July 17 this year allegedly tried to steal boxer shorts popularly known as ‘trunkies’ from Edgars valued at N$1 319.70.
Hosiana Panduleni did not pitch up for his scheduled court appearance over the theft of the underwear and Magistrate John Sindano issued the warrant with a return date of October 1. Prosecutor Seredine Jacobs asked the court to declare his bail money of N$600 that he paid during his first appearance on July 19 provisionally forfeited to the State.
