Rehoboth

The second Bank Windhoek National Bass Angling Tournament of the Namibia Bass Angling Association (NBAA) took place on Saturday, March 12 at Lake Oanob.

As expected, conditions were tough due to lower dam water levels. A few anglers had the opportunity to maximise the challenge of the day to catch as many fish as possible during the tournament.

Alec Williams showed off his skills by being the only angler to catch five fish. Jacques Marais weighed in the biggest fish of the tournament, at a whopping 2.053 kg. Sonita Pienaar was the only female that managed to weigh in fish for the day, with a total catch of two.

The scoring was close and the following anglers managed to get the Top 9 spots:
Alec Williams 3.943
Jacques Marias 3.629
Neels van Tonde 1.867
Richard Grant 1.781
Reinhard Laggner 1.516
JP Judeel 1.467
