Windhoek
Coach John Williams has made a couple of positional changes to the Windhoek Draught Welwitschias squad ahead of their Currie Cup clash against the Cell C Sharks at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban tomorrow.
Open flanker Morne Blom returns to the fray having been given a place on the substitutes’ bench, after recovering from niggling injuries that kept him out of action in the team’s opening two matches.
Reho Falcon’s Denzil van Wyk is to make his full debut after he came off the bench in the Welwitshias’ opening two games.
The other notable change sees Muniovita Kasiringua relegated to the dugout as part of Williams’ rotation policy. The only newcomer added to the travelling entourage is Francois Wiese, who starts on the bench.
The full 22-member travelling squad reads as follows: Quintin Esterhuizen, Gerhard Lotter, Shaun du Preez, Denzil van Wyk, Ruan Ludick, Rohan Kitshoff (captain), Leneve Damens, Roderiques Victor, Arthur Bouwer, Shawn Kaizemi, Russell van Wyk, Darryl de La Harpe, J C Greyling, Johan Tromp, Riaan van Zyl, Joe Herman, Collen Smith, Muniovita Kasiringua, Morne Blom, J C Winkler, M P Pretorius and Francois Wiese.
