WINDHOEK

Police in the Kalkfeld area on Friday arrested two people for alleged robbery on a farm.

Five males attacked Richard Horst Rossouw (47), a resident of Farm Lemputz, in the Kalkfeld district in the early hours of Saturday. The incident is said to have occurred at 04h00.

Also in the fray was a woman.

The thieves gained access to the complainant’s house through an open window, according to Regional Commander of the Otjozondjupa Police, Commissioner Joseph Anghuwo.

The thieves apparently hit Rossouw a number of times with clinched fists, demanding that he hands over diamonds, of which he had none.

It was then that they ordered him to open the safe. They then took a 9-millimetre CZ pistol serial number 7004 – with one box of 9mm rounds as well as an extra box of 22mm rounds of ammunition.

They also helped themselves to N$3?
