WINDHOEK – Local women football powerhouses Galz & Goals, Poly Babes, 21 Brigade United and JS Academy booked their places in the semifinals of the national Talent Identification Tournament, slated for the NFA Technical Centre in Windhoek on Saturday.

JS Academy eased their way to the semifinals with a 7-1 victory over Galz & Goals-A before whitewashing Omaheke ladies 24-0 in their Pool C clash.

Namibia Defense Force side 21-Brigade United bested Angels 3-0 and then labored to a 2-0 victory over Blitz in their second game.
Poly Babes, Galz & Goals-B side and Challengers FC made up Pool B and only one side had to scarp through. The experienced Poly Babes started off with a humbling defeat at the hands of Challengers 6-0 but recovered well in their second game with a comprehensive 8-0 win over Galz & Goals.

Galz & Goals-A side were the last side to sneak into the semifinals as the best runner-up. They won their second game in Pool C against Omaheke ladies by 14-0 after losing the first game to JS Academy 7-1.

The semifinals will be played on Saturday at the NFA techcianl Centre starting of at 08h00 with a promising clash between Poly Babes and Galz & Goals-A to be followed by the second final decider between 21-Brigade United against tournament favorite JS Academy at 09h40.

The two losing semifinalists will then fight for the consolation third place at 13h00 while the final match to decide the 2015 champions of the Talent Identification Tournament (TIT) will be played at 15h00. Entrance fee N$ 2.00.
