Four-year-old Adriana Jacobs went missing from her home in Katutura’s Soweto suburb on Monday 30 June, between 12h00 and 12h30.

After a three-week search failed to locate the missing child, the family has decided to offer a reward of N$5 000 to anyone with information regarding her whereabouts.

The girl’s mother, Simone Jacobs, said Adriana had gone to visit a younger friend at the neighbour’s house, but was found to be missing when she started looking for Adriana at around two that afternoon.

After a fruitless search for the girl in the neighbourhood, the family immediately reported the case to the police.

“We searched for her wherever we could, but no-one seems to have seen or heard about her,” said a distraught Jacobs. “I think she is still alive; I hope she is still alive. She must just come back home.”

Anyone with any information on the missing Adriana can call Katrina Jabobs (grandmother of Adriana) at 081 333 1313, or Justine Stephanus at 085 552 0099.
