Walvis Bay-Namibian Afro pop singer, Indenikuye Shuudeni, known as Msunday, has teamed up with a Kwaito star, JS, to record their first album as a duo.
Msunday and JS just released their first single together last week titled Stars in Africa. Msunday released his debut album earlier this year as a solo artist titled Stop Crime, which earned him respect among the Walvis Bay residents. Msunday says he has now decided to join hands with JS to give his music a great taste and to work on another project apart from selling the Stop Crime album. He adds that they have already begun working on their first album as duo, to be tilted Real. “Our first single Stars in Africa means, we are among the stars in Africa, although we are not yet there on top, we believe that soon or later, we will take over,” says Msunday.
So far they have recorded songs like Ombwela, Gwamanguluka, In Apala and She is like a Vacuum. “We named our upcoming project Real because that’s who we are, whatever we do, we do it real,” he says. The album is produced by Eddy Mambofrany and Pexton PMP. The album will feature Chippa, Hazard, Pule, Satlam and many more upcoming artists.
