WINDHOEK-Eliaser Amunime also known as Beast or Mambo is precisely what I love when it comes to hip-hop or Kwaito.

One listen to Gotta be you  would realise that there’s underground talent that’s just as good, or better, than the mainstream artists we hear on mainstream airwaves. Beast started doing music in 2005 and ever since then he has been trying to make a name for himself in the music industry. “When I hit the stage for the first time it was thrilling. I really did not expect the reaction that I got from the audience, that fuels me especially when they cheer for me, it’s simply amazing,” Beast excites apperciatively.

He wants to be ranked as number one in the country one day. “When it comes to delivering good music, I want to be known as one of the best artists in our country, and one who does good music,” he says adding that getting into the industry was and is still a challenge. “Trying to make a name for yourself, is not easy at all because the media only focuses on well-known artists, who I believe are not doing music to compete worldwide. I would like to change the way the media thinks about up-coming artist, the media need to give us a chance, I assure you  that you’ll be surprised,” says Beast.

Besides music, Beast is also a second year accounting student at the University of Namibia.  To listen to his music visit his sound cloud page at: https://soundcloud.com/beast-a-k-a-mambo or follow him on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beast-AKA-Mambo
